LAB meeting at GBBF on Thursday 7th August. Not sure how we're going hear ourselves think, but we can drink beer and do thumbs-up signs at each other

This year I'll be going to the trade session plus evening on Tuesday. But then I get free tickets!! Usually go on the weds.
What's so unpleasant about being drunk? Ask a glass of water!

For anyone going up on the Saturday I notice there's engineering works on the Clapham to Willesden Junction overground line.

We usually get off at Clapham and use that line to get off at West Brompton. There is a bus service but I reckon it'll be quicker to go underground from Waterloo.

This will be my 4th, which says alot considering I travel from the states for it!!

I told my wife awhile back, "I feel like I'm at the point in my life where I should be able to go the GBBF every year!" Even with our economy in the tank, and, possibly being the only yank on your island, I'll be there! Can't wait!!

Nope. But, I'd love to drunkenly bump into anyone from the board, if there's some sort of meet up?!

I think some of the guys have Jims Beer Kit t-shirts, they'll be instantly recognisable! Most people seem to be opting for the week days, I'm there on the Saturday and happy to sup with fellow brewers!

On the Thursday night LAB (London Amateur Brewers) are meeting by the 'Real Ale in a Bottle' stand at 7pm. If you're there, feel free to come and introduce yourself 8)

Actually, Thurs. might be my night, by coincidence. I arrive earl;y, early wed. am, and, will be fried from no sleep. Of course, I can't get into my room until afternoon, so, the drinking may begin and end early wed   I'll look out for you guys.

Cheers!
Jim
