Hi all

Our national foods promotion authority (bord Bia) have a beer and food festival today and tomorrow and the Guinness estate Farmleigh,

http://www.bordbia.ie/eventsnews/events ... anies.aspx

Not a massive but a good country selection of good ale produce in the country

Just back really good day out and a load of beer :) If have not try cask conditioned beer, this is a really go opportunity to try some. there is a good range of porter and stouts ironic considering its on the grounds of the Guinness estate

My recommendation, of what i got to try

Clotworthy Dobbin Ale, Whitewater (cask conditioned), bottle will be appearing all across Ireland in the next few weeks:)

Porter house plain (cask conditioned) maybe on sale cask conditioned in the near future :D

Messrs Maguire imperial porter (cask conditioned), also white gypsy is planning to do some oak barrel (America and French) conditioned of their imperial porter, sweet

O'hara celebration stout (cask conditioned), really nice big stout and so different to Guinness

Galway hooker

Beoir corca dhuibhe Beal ban (dingle)(cask conditioned)

I did go for Hilden Brewery over Clotworthy Dobbin, but I have had their beers in Belfast really good beer :D
