Airlock

Hiya all

Just sat here pondering things and just wondering how to you use 1 of them bubble airlocks???

not got 1 but might do when i get a DJ

i know you put it in th bung at the top but what goes in it water???

Some people use just water. I use a sodium metabisulphite solution and only fill to the first level of bubbles.

cheap vodka is also an option, no problems with anything growing in it which might give you an infection if you got a suck back.

I have never had an infection off a suck back
