Ok just over a hour into the mash with the crowd pleaser Styrian Stunner

Brew length 16L
3.2KG pale malt
46grms styrians(3.9%AA) 90min
10grms styrians 15mins
10grms styrians end of boil

IBU's 26ish

S04, or the local micro yeast name unknown

I am so looking forward to this one, as I have heard mainly good things about this brew, I know some of you have uped the hop profile but I am looking for the citrus edge but without to much bittering qualities.

As per usual I have used the batch sparge calc, thanks again DaaB and EskimoBob

Have a great brewday Prodigal 8)

Mine's already all gone  so I'll have to re-live it through yours (just as you did with mine :) )

1 week in primary, 10 days in secondary/corni then 10 days later and we've polished off the lot

drinking: ~ | conditioning: ~ | primary: ~ | Looks like I need to get brewing then...

Cheers guys, I have been looking forward to this one :=P

Spearmint, it must be good to polish it of in such quick time. Get your boiler finished and get on another one on

I have the SWMBO constantly hovering in the kitchen as she just loves the malt smell   and the constant "what are you doin?"

oh well an hour into the boil, and I may of accidentally opened some of the house TC, bugger, the end clean up may be a bit slow

Have a good one P2

I can heartily recommend throwing the rest of the hop packet in at the end of the boil to steep, this gives bags of aroma and no extra bitterness, plus they smell gorgeous.

I can look the other way just this once! I have certainly found that I have found a rhythm on brewday now I have a few under my belt.

We are getting the tail end of the poor weather you guys are getting, hence why I have been brewing today, I should of been outside shifting stone, ruble, and granite. And as luck would have it a storm appeared, then wort appeared. SO the lesson is every cloud has a beer lining

I prefer to add to the phrase "Make hay while the sun shines" by continuing with "and make beer while it doesn't!"
