Can you use Isopropyl Alcohol wipes to rapid-sanitise things like stirring spoons, thermometers etc. I'm concerned that it could leave a nasty taste.

Yeah, had a fairly hefty search of the forums. Alcohol you wipe on, it dries in seconds and the thing's sanitised. I use alcohol on my hands at work every day and it struck me how easy it is. Only thing is - I've never licked my hands afterwards to see if they taste minging! Guess I've answered my own question there Daab - I'll wipe something today then lick it! I'll let you know how I get on!

I use an IPA Spray for surface sanitising for yeast ranching . . . . . beer wise its iodophor or peracetic acid . . . might give star san a go at some thime
