Sweetening Cider

What's the best way to sweeten, just a little, cider?
I'm adding stuff after the event at the moment but would like the next batch to be a little less acidic.

Add Sorbitol to the cider before bottling/kegging, or a little apple juice when serving.

Sorbitol heh..... what does that do..... (I'll google it anyway  http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sorbitol )

I'm adding Tonic Water or Blackcurrant at the mo, works like a charm, it's lovely ( and apparently quite strong  ) but it'd be nice to make it slightly less tart.

You should be able to get some in any homebrew shop, sometimes also sold as non-fermentable sweetener for wines.

Basically, that's all it is - an artificial sweetener which can't be fermented out. Just add it to taste, I wouldn't have any problem bunging it in - most commercial ciders are artificially sweetened.
