hi there,
Just wondering is betadine a good no rinse solution to use a cleaner of my brewing stuff,also should i get it in a powerder or spray>?

Doesn't come in a powdered option.

well my old dear works at a chemist and she was finding out for me and she said it comes in a powder or spray,so i guess it must be the spray then?

It's no longer being made so anything in the chemists is old stock. Videne is a direct replacement (and you want the aqueous solution again).
Ive just called our local chemist and he has a bottle of Betadine. Its just passed the expiry date in Sep 2008 and he was going to bin it but will give it to me for free. I guess it will be ok, but does anyone know if it will go off?

Actually it does come as a 'dry powder spray'. A pharmacist friend used it when he crashed out on a cycling event, then carried on riding with a brown leg, I'd assume if the colour goes so does the antiseptic properties? I have a can in the medical cupboard, not suitable for the brewing cupboard :lol:
