Equipment Sterilisation

Post by MikeG » Tue Nov 18, 2008 7:55 pm

I've been looking through this forum and I'm puzzled... are some of you saying that you don't necessarily use sterilising powder (which seems to cost an arm & a leg) but you use bleach instead? ...the bleach that costs 10p per 2.5l in tesco's? ...the bleach that smells really strong and which you wouldn't want your beer to smell like? Can this be true?

Has anyone ever tried baby bottle sterilising stuff. That seems to be pretty cheap if you get the super market's own brand.
