Hello,
just saying cheers for now, just joined the forum, bit squiffy to be honest, enjoying the fruits of my labour! My name is Phil,I've dabbled in homebrew and a bit of wine making in the last 25 years or so.Have brewed from grain before but can't be donkeyed now.Lately rekindled my desire to brew from malt extract and home grown hops, supplemented by bought hops.Am currently drinking something i've thrown together from approx 3kg amber malt extract,200g chocalate malt, approx 80g Wye Challenger main boil followeed by approx a handful of Cascade whilst resting. My recepe isn't an exact science but I'm enjoying drinking it.So CHEERS and my question is(after looking at comments on this forum)Is "Is home brewing Science or is it Art?"(More questions of a practical nature to follw)
CHEERS,Philbo.
