Hi
This is my first post but I have gained a lot of info from the forum.
I am currently enjoying the results of my return to home brewing and working my way through a batch of Admirals reserve!
The results of which have been suprising and have certainly wetted my appettite to continue. I have found the Admirals reserve lighter than expected somewhere between a light ale and lager.
I am looking for a kit that is creamier, heavier along the lines of a John Smiths or Worthingtons creamflow etc. Can you pass on any recommendations?
I await your views with anticipation
thanks
John

Re: Which home brew kit
if you have had a good woodfordes experience try the wherry. thats a staple session ale for me. to make it more heavier add less water, say only do it to 32 pints and not the 40.
ps don't be fooled by the "creamier" taste of worthy or boddies. they are chilled and the alot of the make up has to do with the gases used to make it "smoothflow"

Yeah a stout! Just not coopers...blagh what horrible stuff
If ye like stout though...coopers is the way to go
Funny though, those are perhaps my favorite "bitters" that i buy whenever not supping Homebrew.
