Wheat beer? Is this going to work? Hops?

Geordie lager kit - wheat beer with Saaz hops
Here's the idea....
Take one cheap ass Geordie Lager Kit, some Wheat Spray Malt, a jar of Golden Syrup, some Saaz hops and Safbrew WB06 wheat yeast... and it makes a Wheat beer of sorts.

I'm going to do the following:
* Boil up the Wheat Spray malt and Saaz hops for 40 mins
* Add more Saaz hops for the last 10 mins of boil
* Add further Saaz hops at flame-out for a 15 minute steep
* Tip the warmed Kit into the FV with the golden syrup followed by the hot spray malt and hops strained through a stainless sieve
* Pitch re-hydrated Safbrew WB06 wheat yeast after aerating the wort lots
* Maybe even dry hop the FV after fermentation has finished

Fingers crossed it should turn out like a nice hoppy wheat beer!? :)
I'm planning this for tomorrow, and I might actually try taking some pictures of the mess I'll be making!

If anyone can help with the quantities of Hops and times etc that would be great, I was thinking of 20g each batch... but I really aren't sure!
Cheers :)

Whats the AA% of your hops ?

I would lay of the finishing hops personally, you're making a wheat beer not a pilsener, otherwise it should turn out ok

I've just bottled it this afternoon, had a sneaky little taste and it tastes rough, I'll leave it 4, maybe 5 weeks. 1 week in the warm and 3 or 4 weeks in the cool.
Primed with a little over 80g of household sugar dissolved in 100ml of the brew. :)
