Yet another sneaky taste - Bramling Cross IPA

Bottled last Wednesday and its been at 20 Deg C for a week, conditioning had made the PET bottle (tester) get quite hard.
I quickly chilled it down in the freezer, its tasting pretty new, but after a couple of mouthfuls it gets pretty good with quite a chalky bitter bite and the blackcurrant of the Bramlings is nicely there but not over-powering.
Carbonation is good, and... the head sticks nicely to the sides of the glass right to the bottom :)
4 more weeks at least until its ready really, wonder if it will last that long?!

I'm rather happy that my second Extract brew and First ever own recipe has gone so well to make a product that is very drinkable :) =D>

I'm interested in how this turned out. My Bramling Cross ale was kind of creamy and vanilla-y as well as blackcurrant. I noticed the same flavours in a commercial Bramling Cross beer (from the Broughton brewery).

ahem!! what do you mean! ;)

After the first 'tester' bottle it was oh sooo tempting!
But I resisted, and even managed to resist the Coopers Stout (which could do with a couple more weeks) instead it was my Geordie lager wheat beer and Geordie yorkshire Bitter with Saaz hops ;)

I'll get back to ya when its actually ready! ;)
