Tunnel Micro Brewery

Well as promised I went along to Ansley near Nuneaton to have a look around the Tunnel Brewery http://www.tunnelbrewery.co.uk as arranged with Bob on Monday!!

I was welcomed by the brewer Mick and swiftly shown the mash which he had started at 0805..

I asked no end of questions to which he happily replied, talked about recipies, techniques and was frankly very very open about the whole business.

I arrived at 0900 and left shortly after lunch (brewers bun & a few pint from the adjoining pub "The Lord Nelson Inn") at 1400 to do the school run..

All in all I had a great day with a very nice guy in a superb brewery with some damn fine ale and came away with a lot more than I went in with; including seeing a brew day with a pro..

If you live around Warwickshire; give them a call and arrange a visit/tasting.

Cheers

Rick
