ive not yet done any extract brews but have been researching quite a bit on here and trying to create recipes using beer engine and the help of others on here.
one thing i dont understand is about efficiency. what does this actually refer to and how is it calculated?
also does anyone have a methode of coverting all grain recipes into extract. just the grain into extraxt really, i guess the speciality grains and hops remain the same?

just completed 1st AG, so starting to think about such things myself.
If the recipe stated OG of 1058, and I got 1058, does that mean I got 100% efficiency then?
