What would you use were a recipe calls for Sugar and why ???? Sugar, Glucose or Inverted Sugar (Golden Syrup)

White cane sugar.

I doubt you'd notice the difference between them as they are so similar. I think there are marginal differences in fermentability between them. I just use cane sugar from the shelf.
