Maybe a stupid question, but are Wine and Beer Finings the same thing? If not are wine fininings usable in beer?

Thanks, so I guess wine finings are the better option

Does anyone know where you can get decent fresh isinglass? I wouldn't trust the stuff from my local home brew shop.

I use gelatin from the grocery store. Works great.
