Hi all
As a newby can anyone please tell me how long the following brews will take to clear (all Woodfordes)
Nelson's Revenge, Admiral's Reserve and Nog. All in kegs.
Thanks. I know I'm looking at 6 weeks for the Wherry according to posts here.
conditioning time
Re: conditioning time
All my Nellys revenges have cleared fairly fast (about 2 weeks) but twice I have had chill haze so it goes muddy looking again when I chill the keg.

Re: conditioning time
My Wherry never cleared, its strange as all my other brews have cleared very quickly.

Re: conditioning time
All the Woodforde's 3 kgs kits need a minimum 6 weeks to condition and will continue to condition and clear up to 12 weeks.
Re: conditioning time
Hi , I have made a few of the 2 can kits,Wherry,Colne Valley and Fixby Gold and they all seem to need at least a couple of months to clear fully even after a a couple of weeks in primary and then a clearing stage under air lock before bottling.
Re: conditioning time
I fully agree that the 3kg kits seem to clear slower than others but I took a lot of advice from the forum about using finings and the last 3kg kits I did (including Colne Valley Bitter and Admiral's) were crystal within a week of racking to corny. I've also found with the Brewferm Belgian kits that using boiled then cooled water has resulted in them clearing quicker. I always tend to allow a minimum of 10 days in primary now and often move the FV to a cooler environment for a few days after that to facilitate clearing before racking.
Re: conditioning time
The Wherry kit I did before cleared in a week. It was quite an old kit so I think they've changed something.
I'm not impressed.
