Hi all planning this next based upon the grains i have in stock and trialing the as yet untried hops at my disposal
ROYAL BADER

Brew length 16 Litres

Maris Otter 2500g
Caramalt 300g
Crystal malt 200g
torrified Wheat 100g

90 Mins Mash at 66c
Pilot Hops 18g 90 mins
Soveriegn 12g last 10 mins
Soveriegn 6g at flame out
EBC 25, EBU 34 abv 4.7 %

Your thoughts on this one would be very much appreciated folks as i have not used caramalt or the hops before, sort of looking for a maltiesh bitter

That's a lot of cara/crsytal for a 16l batch, almost 18%.

Yeah, i think it'll be a little more flavoursome if you do.

It's probably not very authentic for your recipe, but if you want malt flavour you can't go wrong with a bit of Munich.
