I made cherry bandy with cherries from local trees. They tasted quite sharp, however it came out right in the end. I cannot remember the amounts but it is something like 1 cup fruit 1 cup sugar 1 70cl bottle of brandy. It came out tasting just like cherry brandy that I drank as a teenager. Quite nice really.

TC sounds nice though.

Just made a cherry wheat beer using black cherries from a tree.

I would ignore the windfall ones, should be able to make a nice wine if you pick enough.
Fermenter(s): Lambic, Wheat beer, Amrillo/Cascade Beer
Cornys: Hobgoblin clone, Four Shades Stout, Wheat Beer, Amarillo/Cascade Ale, Apple Wine, Cider, Damson Wine, Ginger Beer

Well the cherry tree didn't prevail as there just wasn't enough fruits....but I located a plum tree on council land "after some research and a specialist identifying the yellow fruits as edible"
In a nutshell, I collected 6lb of em after work last night so should be able to do a nice wine with them...
I'll take some pics I think...once i get started..
