Soap grains should do the trick

On the subject............well it was actually Tetley smooth flow, a local landlady was telling me of some "real ale drinker" who came in. She had a party the night before and all 3 cask ales were off. He moaned a bit then ordered a smooth flow and............................wait for it ...................wait........................asked her to pop it in the microwave because it was too cold for his taste

Back in Cardiff in the mid 70s we had a really cold winter and the cellar temperatures in the pubs, around February had crept down so cold that many of the locals were complaining about the cold SA and Dark etc. I was working at the steelworks at the time and there was a Hancocks pub over the road, where they could fit 6 pints into the microwave (they had just come in and the early ones were bloody big) and the landlord was doing "a pint and a flash"
