glass carbouy help

Post by stee41 » Wed Apr 20, 2011 12:10 am

Hi all,

I have a 6 gall glass carboy, it is not stained but I cant get some marks off the inside, what are the best chemicals to use to clean this thoroughly? I have tried double strength cleanser and even bleach but cant get it clean enough, it looks like tiny deposits of cleansing powder stuck to the inside of the glass, a brush wont move it either!!

cheers all

:D

Have you tried a percarbonate cleaner? That is what I always use on my glass carboys and I have never had an issue and only rarely need the use of the brush.
