beermonsta wrote: Thanks so far go to Steve for dealing with "the list"! and Polymoog who gets my recommendation for the ideal distribution centre. Thanks too to everyone else who helps in any way (such as with previous orders etc) and lets get this ball rolling chaps.
As for eventual distribution, I reckon that this could be done easily just by communicating your location (as already suggested and done) and then by forming a distribution "chain". I'm happy to accept deliveries for North Manchester and to act as a distributuion point onwards. I'm happy to deal with Skiptonians and Jontys cornies as no doubt Ill be heading up to Skipton in the near future. Anyone else in this area whos placed an order let me know and if you've not ordered too many I'll add you to my Lancashire to North Yorkshire distribution list.
Can we all vote or agree on a central distribution point, personnes for monies(aka accountant), and a route for eventual distribution. I vote for Polymoog as the distribution centre. Can we have suggestions for accountants (self nominated is fine) and people to second this. Sounds like a real committee! how exciting
+1 for Derbyshire, i'll be a payer up front if others are in.... put me down for 10..

I propose we take polymoog up on the kind offer of the use of his warehouse in Derbshirey.
I will update the list tomorrow at some point with all additions. I will probably start a new thread so we can have the list at the top of the thread in one place.
I am happy to coordinate the number of kegs we need and getting them into the country. If anyone else has any shipping contacts let me know, but currently I have asked the MaltMiller to look into this for us, as he offered to help with the shipping.
If we can set up some sort of joint paypal account however that works then I'm happy with that, a volunteer for treasurer would be great.

Could I suggest we group all of the scotish buyers.
I would suggest either deliver from polymoog to the central belt and folks can pick up from there or to my house in Dundee and others can pick up. I can relay kegs to aberdeen if wanted.

I could take pallets in Aberdeen if needed and folks want to pick up from there.

I'm pretty sure I could borrow a trailer and transport some from Snail in Lincs (I believe) to Norwich.

Maybe there should be a distribution thread?

Well he may well sell a few less kegs, but I'm sure he'll shift a few more taps, regs and seals! And I'm afraid that in this climate if I can save a few quid then I'm going too!
