The trouble is their costs are very good. Just taken delivery of two 80l thermos for less than £200 delivered. Good costs and a good turn around.

I'd agree with this or how about a few free kegs for the organisers. If they're going to cost £15 each then for £16.50 each we could give 10% of the kegs to the boys.
Discuss........
I don't mind but those who need a few extra are going to pay more ??

Thanks all for the organising so far. Great job.
Reading an earlier post I saw that there were lots of different types available.
Can we specify ball lock please.
Also, I've been dying to get hold of a 15G corny for fermenting. I've only seen pictures of these in America. If there are any of these available I'd be definitely interested in one.

I'll put myself forward to organise the cash with greenxpaddy. I'm just around the corner from Rammy,(in Bolton) I run my own business so should be able to find the time and can use a spread sheet. I've also got a van and can help out with the logistics.

Splendid, I'll take a step back then. Let me know if you need a third. Being a bit further away, it _might_ add a little rigour. Not, (and I really mean NOT) that I'm suggesting any potential impropriety.

A third may be a good idea just to keep things "honest" if you know what I mean.

I've got a Previa and without the seats I can probably transport 30 or so. I'm currently in Huddersfield and will be back in woodbridge tomorrow. It's a fairly regular run for me, so I could probably do something on the transport front.

Not so much honest, as I generally trust people, but with the amount of money that's likely to be sloshing about, making sure your yor back is covered could BA a good idea.

let me know if you and gxp want my interference.

I would like to say, that by the nature of things, there will be organisers and beneficiaries, some will put more in and some will take more out, but overall it is likely to work out for the good of all participants. It certainly would not be helpful for things to get quagmiref by tittle tattle over pennies here or there. The admirable thing I find is that all of this stems from a desire to brew and present the very best beer, to change the way real ale is perceived. Jim has been quiet so far, trying not to get too involved with this, quite rightly. But let's ensure that this whole concerted effort is a success and a demonstrable advertisement for brewers and brewing.

Beardy, I think you are right. We are probably going to have the best part of £9,000 tied up in this, so anything to protect those holding the money of being accused of anything is a good thing.
It's not a case of not trusting anyone, just a case of covering yourself.
