Clearing...

Bottled AG#1 today after a bit of crash cooling. Still cloudy, but it's already nice to drink so I'm not too fussed. I'm guessing it'll come clear in the end though, right?

It's having a carb week in the brewfridge at 22 C, then I'll be crash cooling the bottles again to about 2 C.

Yeah don't expect it to be clear until a good few weeks plus after bottling. What yeast did you use? Some clear down quicker than others.

iv have a us-05 in fermenter now for 17 days and still not clearing :( ,, this dame yeast,,,,,,,,
iv did a 10 gallon batch and split it,,
Nottingham in one fv with a dry emzyme (stright to 1.000 f.g) ,this is in the keg already bright as water ,,,,and this us05 has no signs of clearing.,....

Give it time. My first batch is bright as a button now and if you pour it *carefully* will stay so from the bottle to the glass. Get it bottled, give it a carb week and crash cool again. This brought on a chill haze for me but this has cleared again quite quickly now that the beer is back up to cellar temperature.

I use KwiKlear. 24 hours to drop bright as a button. Never used that troublesome yeast though so would be interested to know if it is just as effective on it. Anyone tried?
