Re: Brew enhancer
I'm loving it cause of the simple 1 can recipes it suggest with hop teas etc to modify there kits
Re: Brew enhancer
Geordie and Muntons do beer kit enhancers too, theirs are made up of a 50/50 mix of light dry malt extract and dextrose so slightly different to the Coopers Brew enhancers. It just widens your options a little. Having said that it's often cheaper to buy your dry malt and dextrose separately if you buy a kilo of each you'll get the equivalent of two packs of beer kit enhancer for about 7 quid if you get it from the right place.

Re: Brew enhancer
Isnt dextrose just brewing sugar
Re: Brew enhancer
Yes, it's one of the names for brewing sugar, also glucose is brewing sugar. These are simple sugars which ferment out completely leaving no residual flavours, unlike household sugar which will leave that cidery flavour.

Re: Brew enhancer
And a quick eBay search shows dextrose is far cheaper than brewing dextrose
