(Under) Pressure chart conversion needed

Post by orlando » Mon Sep 10, 2012 10:43 am

Being hopeless with spreadsheets. I was wondering if someone could help out with converting a very useful chart that has Farenheit temperatures to celsius. It can be copied and pasted into a spreadsheet but then requires skills I don't have. The chart can be viewed here. It would be particularly useful to people who use Cornies but even us poor relations with KK's and other pressure barrels could also use it.
I am "The Little Red Brooster"

Fermenting:
Conditioning:
Drinking: Southwold Again,

Up Next: John Barleycorn (Barley Wine)
Planning: Winter drinking Beer

You can use the following formula.

=CONVERT(A1,"F","C")

You will have to delete the def F bit though as it won't understand that part.

Hi There

Do you just want the same chart but with Celcius in the left hand column?

If so it is pretty simple. Just set up a formula to -32 and divide by 1.8. If you can't manage give me your email and i'll send an excel sheet

PM sent.

I guess what I really want is just that but a table that is from say 5c to 30c as these are the extreme ranges for stored beer. As the equivalents are not whole numbers will this affect the rest of the chart as there are in effect 3 parameters?
