But while there's moonlight ectectect

The strawberry wine's a bit heavy on the pulp. I reckon it'll climb out of the lock about 5am, and keep on doing it for a couple of days. Ah well.

So far it's behaving. Couple of inches of fluffy gunk at the top, inch at the bottom, clearing inbetween. But the yeast hasn't really got going yet. We'll see what happens when it gets to the snowglobe stage.

24 hours in and it's not climbed out yet, gas seems to be getting out without lifting the pulpy froth all the way to the lock. Fingers crossed. The one on the left is 2lb bramble 1lb strawb 1lb rasp. Started today: 1lb redcurrant 3lb rasp 1/2lb strawb, and 1/2lb blackcurrant 3lb rasp.

50 hours in I thought I was going to get away with it, the pulpy froth had started to collapse about 1/2" before reaching the bung.
52 hours in, it escaped.
That frothy stuff has a strangely appealing taste though!
