Just transferred my first extract brew to the corni. Fullers ESB. Had a sneak taste and I have got to say I am very impressed. I am actually more than impressed. It tastes exactly like fullers ESB. My only complaint if any is that it is slightly lighter than the original in colour. I can change that by adding dark soft brown sugar rather than using the light brown sugar. It is my first extract with 3 kits before. The kits I made were drinkable, nice but nothing to get excited about. I have just made my first all grain last week, Eskimo stout which is now in the secondary and if the extract brew is anything to go by, I can’t wait to try the all grain. I’m a very happy home brewer

It surely is the best hobby and similar to my other one which is boxing. It's easy to do and just as easy to get drunk on homebrew as it is to get it from a right cross

Put sun glasses on, or sup in the dark NK, it's the taste that matters

Niall,
I tend to drink with my eyes as well but am breaking myself of that habit.

Sure, no problem.

1kg soft brow sugar
75g Goldings full boil
10g Goldings steep at the end of the boil.
10g Goldings Dry Hop
5g irish moss (last 10 mins)
Boiled for a total of 40min. Sugar went in last 10 minutes of the boil.
Enjoy, Niall
