hi all, has anyone used brewers gold for bittering and aroma in a blonde ale, if so what was it like ie citrus, floral, fruity, spicey, etc. They seem to be very cheap compared to the cascade i have just used which is £14.95 per kilo compared to £5.40 for brewers gold, thats in 5kg packs from farams.

Brewers gold is a nice hop, punchy citrus fruit and very floral, not delicate at all. Some of the American hops have been derived from it and you can tell. A little goes a long way. Dont lose their flavour after a month like some hops, they just keep getting better and better.
