Have been at a loose end the past day so dug out four vessels I started a month or two ago and now have them standing on there own three feet, managed to roll the lagging rings and get some legs attached. They wont be sealed units I intend on having loose lids for tops they are also fitted with 15deg cones on the bottom which were offcuts from a previous job I did.I am not sure if I shall make a rack to fit everything into or free standing and hard pipe with transfer pumps.
Progress so far.

Looks cracking!
If I may? If you can produce bottom draining tanks then thats how I'd go for every vessel, I'd also sit them high enough to get a bucket underneath. Looking back on it now I wish I'd done that instead of going the german pot route as it would have made things 1000% easier to clean at the end of every brewday. I'd likely still have a valve in the side for the boiler (aswell) and do the run off from there.
As for racks & pumps, a rack is great if you have space but I found (as DC did also I think?!) that it gets a bit awkward at times, pumps are definitely easier.
Anyway, good luck with the build and when you get a min can you PM me back about that pressure vessel (if youre interested)
Cheers

Cheers!
Managed to get a wee bit done this morning mash filter plate support ring installed and ready for welding into place.
Filter plate (piece of perf sheet I had left over) cut and fitted.
Cutting circles the easy way.

This is some serious kit - what's the purpose of the dimpled cooling panel?
A fine beer may be judged with only one sip, but it's better to be thoroughly sure.

To cool.....!
The point of the dimple is for strenght, this is welded to the main body forming a double skin vessels are designed for outward pressure a blockage on the return line would implode the cylinder even with mains water pressure.
