It depends. If you ever... Ever... Turn both elements on at the same by accident you'll be drawing too much current for that to withstand. I have fitted a safety changeover switch to my panel so it's impossible for me to have all four elements on at the same time. You element's on their own pull 20A so you have 12A to play with for everything else in your panel which should be ample.

Thanks for the reply, both elements will not be on at the same time.... It will be 1 or the other as the are both connected to a 3 position selector switch... On-off-on:)

Good one. Make sure the selector switch is on the control side or you'll be switching 20A. I'm sure you probably know that already

Hi All, over the last week a few more parts have turned up:)

I got my PowerCon 32A power input, very impressed with this and it should handle all the power I will need.

I have decided to replace the NEMA Recepticles with a suitable, easier to source connector, I went with these PowerCons they are rated at 240v 20A so are more then suitable.
They will be used on the Heating Elements and the Solar Pumps:)

Those Powercon connectors are great. I have them and also Powercon true1 in my rig. The ones you have bought are not designed to be disconnected under load. So only disconnect them with the power off.

Are your xlrs for PT100 probes?

Cheers
