Look what was waiting for me when I got home

Got back from food shopping to find this in the hall . . . I wonder what I can be???

Image

Well look what's in the box

Image

It's a big beastie

Image

In it's proper environment . . .And that is a 5L conical poking it's head out

Image

No problem fitting the lid with a 5L conical in place, with the rack in place

She was surprised that I was going to put it on the stove . . "Considering the potential for disaster" :naughty . . .And why am I not using my boiling ring . . . .I told She that the boiling ring was too large for it . . .which technically it is . . . what I neglected to tell She was that I had permanently mounted it under the kettle :whtl :whtl :whtl . . . I think that is the perfect excuse to buy an 8KW burner to use as a heat source for the autoclave . . . and She told me I had to do it . . . . Sort off

And the Shinyfest continues, as I join the crusade to Sanke S type kegs

Image

Plus the 4.5 gallon pin for real ale on hand pull . . . or even from the 'wood' under gravity . . .no more lemon meringue pie on my pints :D
