Brewbit's Model-T

Post by Norik » Mon Mar 10, 2014 7:26 pm

Brewbit's online store has just opened to start selling the Model-T, i was wondering if anyone here was planning to purchase one?

The store = LINK

I'm nothing to do with them (so not touting for business), i just have a geekon for the model-t, and was wondering if anyone is planning on importing one from the US?

For those who have no idea what i'm talking about:
What is BrewBit?
BrewBit is a system of Internet-connected devices that integrate with mobile and online services to track, analyze and provide customized feedback for all your brewing needs.

Model-T
Model-T is a wireless temperature controller, which can track up to two separate temperature streams and control up to two devices, independently of each other; all the while logging temperature data.
I like the bit about logging the data.
Litany For Beer
I must drink the Beer.
Beer is the mind-killer.
Beer is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my Beer.
I will permit it to pass over me and through me.
And when it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
Where the Beer has gone there will be nothing.
Only I will remain.

Hi

I am developing a similar device - but hoping to be cheaper/simpler than the Brewbit

Bru is a wifi enabled sensor and controller that is managed via the web (monitor current air and brew temperature as well as set the desired temperature).

You can check out some of the details here : http://www.brucontrol.co.uk please register for updates on the website if you are interested. Also happy to get any feedback at this early stage. Regards Kevin.
