9ltr Corny gas advice

Post by beerlover1983 » Wed Apr 09, 2014 5:26 pm

I realise this is a very broad question but ive decided that im going to invest in the smaller 9ltr corny as i never got to use my 19l ones due to still living in a flat.
So i thought if i got the smaller ones and a small c02 bottle i could still live the dream on a smaller scale.

Ive been looking a various places near me that supply c02 but i was thinking if i went for the small 1.5kg c02 bottle i could house that very easy

But im not sure how long that it would really last.I know its a hard question to answer.

Some time ago i got the small c02 hand dispenser that goes onto the corny and the bulbs.

I was hoping to carb up the keg with the 1.5kg bottle and if needed just top up with the charger .Meaning could also take to a party etc .

Any thoughts ?

The Widget World CO2 cylinders are just 300g and plenty of brewers have used those for cornies.

You're talking 5 times the quantity of gas, so you should be in good shape.
