UPDATE:

After comparing the O-rings. The standard ball-lock lid O-ring is just a tiny bit smaller than the stock one, but it still fits even if a bit tightly. The post O-rings appear to be the same size. It was a good thing I ordered them too, because after inspecting the stock O-rings I noticed they were already cracking after only one use.

I also noticed my pressure release valve was leaking, but after I unscrewed it and applied some keg lube to the threads and seal that seems to have taken care of it for now. That had me a bit worried and is something I will be keeping an eye on.

My other concern was after I cleaned it with PBW and sanitizing with StarSan, I noticed some of the welds had a blackish tint to them. I'm not sure if I should be worried about that as maybe it's an indicator that the welds are not pure stainless steel as I've noticed StarSan does darken certain metals like aluminum.

I will continue to use her, but I think in the future I might avoid these made in China models and look at AEB Kegs that are made in Italy instead.

I can only assume we are using kegs from different companies I have none of the issues you mention with mine. The posts are the same size as they wouldn't fit t he JG fittings so I'm not surprised at that. You should take it back, the only way the standard will rise is if they realise they can't sell them if they are shoddily built.

No 23 litre kegs? How about 25 litre - go large!
