Full A.G Set Up. Where to Buy?

Post by floydmeddler » Sat Jun 14, 2014 3:11 pm

Hey folks,

A mate of mine is looking to take the plunge into all grain. He's a busy man so hasn't got the time to build his own. Have any of you bought a ready made A.G brewery? I know Leyland do them but just wondering if there are any other decently priced ready made rigs out there.

Cheers!

Cant add anything to that. I just got mine from Mrlard. (home brew builder) and very happy with it.

I think All Grain brewing is the wrong choice then if you're mate is too busy to build one.

If he's that busy when will he have chance to use it?

Cheers lads.

He works from home home quite a bit, so he won't have time to build. When he's home, he'll brew. Probably only a few times a year, I'd imagine.

OK. People have suggested nice shiny brewery suppliers but if it's only for occasional use then a plastic setup may suffice.

Something like this maybe

http://www.hamstead-brewing-centre.co.uk/itm01552.htm

It's what I started with and is all you really need.

I still have my doubts about time. I used to work from home and there's no way I would be able to brew during a work day.

You may find similar setups cheaper. I think Leyland Homebrew do a similar kit.
