I am having trouble getting the Mypin T series controller set properly, does anyone know of the setting to stop the controller pulsing on the heating side and also on the cooling side?

Sounds like the prop band is on 0 or close to it. Try changing it to 10 and use that as a datum. You'll find it in the PID terms section but I don't have any knowledge of those controllers.

Also see the auto tune feature on column 2 page 2 under NOTES.
This should get the PID terms as close as you need it.
Just follow the instructions and leave the tune on until it controls well. This may take 30mins or so.

Cheers Lee,
Before I set the auto tune mode I changed the d mode to 1 instead of off second page l/h side (see article which someone was trying to switch pulsing on )

One last thing would this also work to stop the heater pulsing?
Sam

Not much time Sam but yes it will/can smooth it out, it will basically take an educated guess when to be on or off to maintain the process value close to the set point you have.
It will pulse whatever you do as you only have a on or off heater. There is nothing you can do about that. The PID terms in this case will try to control as close as possible to the set point.
If for what ever reason you don't want that you can put the prop band to zero and have a dead band which is a plus or minus x amount from your set point. Which I presume is not what you require. As that can be done via a STC 1000.
Pulsing is fine, chattering is not so good. As long as the heater controls with in a few points of a degree your tune is good.

Cheers again Lee,
I found when I switched the panel off then back on and started the cooler again it was pulsing upto a certain point then run on continuously after a short period . I did not get exactly how long as I had headed into the house and when I returned it was running.
