Foker large square 8.8kw cast burner height

Post by Kev888 » Wed Jul 23, 2014 11:42 am

Could anyone who has the Hamilton Gas Products/ Foker 8.8kw boiling ring in a ready-made stand tell me what sort of clearance it has between the burner and where the pot base would be, please?

I'm getting the stand-alone version and am unsure what sort of clearance it should have.

Many Thanks,
Kev

My burner has arrived... the web pictures definitely don't give a sense of scale, its a lot bigger than I imagined!

Though it has no instructions with it whatsoever, so I'd still appreciate knowing how high above it the pot should be, if anyone can help?

Cheers

I will go out and measure mine shortly.

Heres my burner in stand.

Looks like 2.5 inches clearance between burner and pot.
