cheapest suppliers for fv tap and barrel float?

Post by Wekslap » Tue Aug 05, 2014 9:34 pm

Can anyone tell me the cheapest suppliers for stuff like a tap to fit on a wilko basic fv, or a float to fit a wilkos pressure barrel etc?

Thanks

John

best taps imho for FV's are waddington and duval water but taps, they are foodsafe and have the bonus of a hozelock male spout so with a hozelock female fiting attached to 1/2" pvc hose you have a simple click on/off superfast drain hose ;) get em on ebay ;)

the other stuff ebay?? your local homebrewshop will sell such things and a few pence premium per item can be well worth while as most homebrew shops have a brewer somewhere in the team for hands on experience and advice..
our local hbs stocks everything and are also online at http://www.stonehelm.co.uk/
and if u have Q's ring em and they will answer, or get someone who can to call u back..
I went in for a beerkit came away with a free ag kit(out of date by a week) grain bag (paid for) and instructions on how to use an old burco for my first biab batch ;)
ist update for months n months..
Fermnting: not a lot..
Conditioning: nowt
Maturing: Challenger smash, and a kit lager
Drinking: dry one minikeg left in the store
Coming Soon Lots planned for the near future nowt for the immediate :(
