Would be fine if the stand were reduced a tad :) Although I guess you use that for other vessels which sit flat on it and so need to be at the same level as the fridge "step".

A stand for the stand would sort that :=P

The stand has to be the same height as the bulkhead Andy as the door won't shut on my fridge.

No. I just tape up the hole and put a little hole in.

:( And unfortunately 2 will not quite fit in a tall larder fridge :(
But perhaps with a side hole and triclamp, blow off tubes could be fitted?

I haven't sized mine up in the brew fridge yet but at least it should fit.

Couldn't you remove those door shelves ? The top one is pretty big and must reduce the available internal space quite a lot. Wouldn't be a pretty operation mind!

They are moulded in so I can but will just have to do some chopping out.

I'll have a bash next week, during my hols.

Are you taping the probe to the bucket because measuring the air temp is going to be way off from your fermentation temp?

Sorry Matt, it was a reply when I had no time.

Yes I always tape it to the FV and cover it with insulation.

That alright, no worries.

What I'm wondering though, and something I'm considering for myself as well because I have one I've not yet used, is whether the temperature reading is going to behave differently when reading through stainless steel as compared to plastic.
