Regarding cooling fans buy a cheap 12v from ebay and something like this:

Chop the end off - feed the wire through the drip tray drain and splice.

9V batteries will cost more in the long run and normally run the fans at a slower speed

No it is connected to the heating/cooling supply so only on when a temp change is required.

Finaly got mine up and running.currently got loads of bottles in there which is alot better becuse its around 10c in the shed.

i know its a little off topic but what size pics do you upload and ill get some pics up 2moro

I use Flickr which allows you to choose from a number of preset image sizes to share.
It is free for upto 1tb.

I looked on wikihow because i havnt posted pics before and it shows how to do it on tinypic. I have posted a pic which was 2 large and then resized it to thumbnail but its a little small lol.


i currently have a load of bottles in beer fridge set at 18c. Am i best putting the pobe in a glass of water or just let the probe hang loose?
