Very good, a full week left before the event so a few more with luck.
The event will be held in the Chart Room. For any not familiar with Fitzgerald's in Sunderland, it is found when entering from Green Terrace by turning right and descending a few stairs. I should be there about 7:45pm

Well, it was nice to meet up with everyone, I had a very enjoyable evening.
It's only a pity there weren't a few beer-related questions in the quiz, then we might have stood a chance.

Yeah Jim it was anther fine night. Gotta do it more often.
Looks like it could be a monthly meet the brewer event.
Maybe next months Brewers will bring some Ale to try, instead of drinking it all themselves.
He was pretty wasted.
The quiz was a bit general knowledge for us, but we did know the Marilyn Monroe one!
I think the Bird Man of Sunderland was on top form.

Yes, thanks to all, that was a good night. As soon as the next meeting is fixed, I'll post the date here.
On a further topic I meant to raise, anyone up for the remembrance day service on Great Gable next Sunday? I've spare seats, door to door plus a walk.

Next "Meet the Brewer Evening" will be Tuesday 25th November when the subject will be Scottish Borders. Forgot to ask Matt if they would be sending a representative, but should they not, would it be different to any with self intent to indulge to excess? I'll ask Matt next visit and report back.
The subsequent meeting will be the last for the year. It will be purely self indulgent, no commercial brewer present, just real ale fans with free food and usual fun and prizes on Monday December 15th.

I think Matt said there would be two brewers from The Scottish Borders Brewery.
Last one was good. Defiantly going to this one.

Food in December, I assume it will be free, I've never paid for it on previous occasions. I'll ask.
Dave, it would be great to see you up here.
Glad you enjoyed the night, Matt looks after his real ale fans. Last night's choice included a green hop beer which added to variety.

Re: Free Hops
Free Hops in Sunderland
I bought a load of Flyer Hops from the malt miller earlier this year.
Far too many for me to use. If anyone would like some free.
Im going to the Brewers meet night on Tuesday.
Tuesday night 25th Nov. Fitzgerald's in Sunderland.
The Scottish Borders Brewery evening.
If you would like some, just let me know and I’ll bring them along.
I have already bagged up 6 x 200g.
I have another Kg if needed.
