Drip Tray Quest

Post by orlando » Wed Dec 31, 2014 8:35 am

I am on this exasperating quest to find suitable drip trays for my new Keezer, see below. I have 4 taps and to accommodate all 4 requires 20" minimum for the 4 keg taps. 2 x 12" trays would suffice but I need a minimum of 6" from the bottom of the tap to the tray, this means a tall back splash and here is the crux of the problem. I have foundone that would work but it is inevitably in the States and shipping makes it a crazy price and that is without any taxes that may be applied. Does anyone know where I might get hold of something similar or has an alternative idea to solve the problem? A matching item is required for the beer engine too.

These guys do custom splashbacks in stainless - http://www.alcoeng.co.uk/domestic/splas ... lash-backs

You could have a 600 x 100mm stainless splashback for under a tenner with free delivery then you could just use a couple of these maybe http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Wall-Mount-Dr ... 51c936ead7

That combination would still come out cheaper than a single 12" one from the US of A.

=D> Thanks, that is a real possibility, If I got them to make a splash back with a lip for the trays and a couple of holes to fix it to the collar I would be in business. :D

The splashback might be a bit wobbly! Have a look at the thickness it's only 1mm

Good point, I have contacted them for a custom made jobby so that should be taken into account.
