
After reading thru the threads here about this "turbo cider" I thought I just had to give it a try. Heres what I have going so far;
1/ Thought I would start with a simple one as a control. 4.5ltr tesco value AJ with 150g white sugar. Pitched in gervin brown label wine yeast. This is chugging away like a train


2/ Got a jar of ginger in syrup (220g net) blended it fine with some AJ then simmered it for 15 mins with 6 cloves and a little cinnamon (freshly ground), added 100g sugar. Topped it up with AJ in the demi, used wine yeast again. Its going ok but slower than the first.
3/ Today, 4ltr of AJ with 340g honey and 100g of muscovado. Using youngs cider yeast with this, its started very well.
I sure hope I like this stuff, lol.
