I think the guy who organised it is busy setting up brewery premises.

Hiya, long time no type....

Sorry we didn't do the Saltaire Brewery Competition in 2015, it basically relied on me being available to all the in-brewery organising and for all 2015 myself and my wife were busy knocking our own brewery premises into shape.

We have been asked if we could organise something again so we have been having a think... from what we are told the NCB has a new Chairman so we wish to pass the idea by them first and then try set a date.

If this is to happen it WILL NOT be at Saltaire, it will be at our own Wishbone Brewery in Keighley. We already have a bar in the brewhouse so are setup to serve from 5 handpulls, we would ask 4 homebrewers to brew to fill a 9 Gallon Firkin and deliver that beer to us in the week before the event. The beer on the bar, as other years, would be a donation to charity so we can help a good cause.

We will sort out Trophies for First, Second & Third place in a Homebrewed Bottle Competition and maybe a people's choice award for the best of the 4 beers presented on the bar... The 5th handpull would be our own beer and not be included in the voting.

Hey, all.

Such a good day out that we have pretty much ripped it off and made our own version down in Essex. Just had our second year with additions of food and speakers.

If dates are firmed up on this I will try and pop up and enter and see a few familiar faces.

We are provisionally thinking August sometime so it gives people time to plan & brew. Be good to see a few folks again, things have moved on a bit since the last comp/meet.
