Element, sight tube, lidl boiler

Hi all,

I'm going to be fitting my stock pot with the 2.4 kw element from Mr lard and his sight tube on my lidl boiler. Can I just that the o ring that comes with each of them goes on the inside of the boiler and stock pot? Also any other tips for fitting the sight tube to the lidl boiler..... I've already cut the holes and have painted on some food safe enamel paint.
