solar pump priming

Post by Deebee » Sun Apr 26, 2015 6:16 pm

Hi. Hopefully last stupid question regarding the pump i am getting.
it will be used to recirculate water in the hlt so i get even temperatures.
i guess these need to be primed before use though.
is it enough to connect it all up then open the hlt outlet so water runs in.. then turn it on or should i be doing something else?

That's all you need to do.

These pumps cannot pump air and therefore must be primed.

Water goes in the front and comes out the top.

Out of interest does anyone have an idea of the length of cables attached to the pumps?
