Hello All
Whilst I don't mind brass ball valves for MT/HTL etc - I've been looking for an easy to sanitise tap for two fermenters. All the plastic ones I have can't be fully dismantled.
When you price up stainless ball valve, nipple, washers, hex nut etc it gets quite pricey - I am a total tight arse.
I wonder if anyone had comments on these:

Works out £5 each - silicon gasket, washer and hex nut on the inside should only be a few more quid. How easy will they be to dismantle and clean?

Stainless Taps for Plastic Fermenters
Re: Stainless Taps for Plastic Fermenters
I bought one of these 304 stainless taps and fitted it on my plastic boiler (best fit was using one silicone washer). The nozzle can hold a silicone hose on the end - which I need if I do no-chill. If I was using it on an FV I guess I could pressure-cook it to sanitize if I thought bacteria/spores might be hiding on the ball valve.
edit: I have a 16mm filter like this that fits over the end - I'm going to use that as a hop filter on my next brew.

I brew therefore I ... I .... forget

I saw those but didn't know if I'd get a hose on the end - good to know. I could always boil/pressure cook them...
Did you get them from the UK or China?
