Is there any difference in these 2 ball valves thread wise?

Post by DC » Wed Jul 22, 2015 12:14 pm

Hi all, I am looking to replace the current tap on my Burco Boiler HLT and was looking at the stainless steel ball valves on the BES website. I have the 3 piece ½” ball valves on my mashtun & boiler and I am looking at getting another ball valve for my HLT and after looking on the BES website I am thinking of maybe getting the ½” 2 piece ball valve code (16835). But I am wondering what the difference is between the ½” BSP of the ½” BSP 3 piece and the (“threads to BS21”) for the ½” 2 piece ball valve as stated on the BES website?

Well BS 21 is the standard for BSP threads, so it 'should' be OK
Best wishes
