I was on the lookout for a 10-12L stock pot because I want to start doing tiny 1 gallon batches (for various reasons).
I also wanted to buy something solid that should last forever and could be used for other kitchen activities requiring a large pot (boiled ham anyone?)!
My search led me to lacor, there is a 13.5 litre pot (28x22) here on amazon for around ~£22 (http://www.amazon.co.uk/Lacor-54127-LOW ... 000SM2LE8/)
but, part of me wanted to find a taller, slimmer pot and in the end I settled on a Genware 12 litre pot (26cmx22cm) - at ~£40 it was the most I was willing to pay - you have to buy the lid separately (the pot is 28.99, lid was 10.99)
Pot - http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/131343320930
Lid - http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/131459021840
I've heard both lacor and genware are pretty decent - my genware one seems solid enough (leaks a very minimal amount through the rivets but I imagine I'll loose way more with boil off)
anyhow, if any one is looking for a pot that works on induction or is just generally of solid construction I hope this might help.
I hope to get started on my first AG BIAB 1 Gallon batches shortly (when my voile arrives)
Cheers,
Matt

Solid 12-ish Litre Stockpots (Heads Up)
Re: Solid 12-ish Litre Stockpots (Heads Up)
If you want more options (I am not saying thety are better or worse) wiko do a 12L one for £17 http://www.wilko.com/pots+pans/wilko-st ... vt/0322498 Angel home brew £27.60 http://www.angelhomebrew.co.uk/en/stock ... l-pot.html if you want to get it from someone who could add a tap for you.
Re: Solid 12-ish Litre Stockpots (Heads Up)
Hmmm. One of these could be quite handy. I've posted elsewhere about SMaSH experiments and wanting to do short brew lengths. One of these could be much better for one or two gallon brew lengths than my five gallon plastic boiler.

Ah, yeah, cheers. I'd seen the wilkos ones but I suppose I was a bit of a sucker for the aluminium encapsulated base of the genware pot.
Not sure I'll be putting a tap into mine as it's also going to be for cooking as well.
My voile has just arrived so I'll hopefully get around to stitching a bag ready for the weekend
Just found this site: picobrew.co.uk from another homebrewer who seems to brew in 1 gallon batches - I like the name too.
Cheers,
Matt
